What is Couch Potato®?

Couch Potato® is a reward program for viewers of San Diego 6 in San Diego. Joining Couch Potato® is free, and your personal information will never be shared with anyone. Click here to read our privacy policy.

How Do I Get Rewarded?

There are several ways to earn Couch Potato® points. Codes are shown throughout the day at various times on San Diego 6. Enter the codes on the site and earn points. You can also play trivia, refer friends, and watch video/listen to audio from our Rewards Sponsors on the various sponsor pages. Occasionally, we'll even have Bonus Code Events, where you can earn points by visiting a Reward Sponsor's retail location or by purchasing their products, services, etc.

How Do I Turn Codes Into Points?

First, you need to be a Couch Potato® in order to redeem your codes. If not one already, simply register for an account. If you have an account, log in from SanDiego6.com. On the left hand side of every page you'll see a place to enter your code word. Simply type it in, hit "Enter", and your account will automatically be credited with the point value of the code you entered. Keep in mind, "Couch Potato® Codes" are only valid until 11:59pm the SAME DAY, whereas "Bonus Codes" are typically valid for ONE WEEK from date of issue (unless otherwise specified). Code words can only be entered once for points during their given time.

What Can I Get With My Points?

Your points can be redeemed for free stuff or for entries in our raffles and $5,000 cash giveaway. Additionally, just for being a Couch Potato® you will be entitled to exclusive benefits and privileges reserved for Couch Potatoes® only. Free merchandise, movie premieres, coupons, discount vouchers, e-tickets to special events and more.

How Can I Enter to Win the $5,000 Cash Giveaway?

The showcase is a sweepstakes in which you purchase "entries" for a chance to win $5,000 in cash. The more entries you purchase, the higher your odds of winning. If you win, you will be awarded $5,000 in cash!

Let the receptionist know that you would like to confirm your Couch Potato purchase. Once you have confirmed your purchase you may pick up your prize as long as you bring your valid photo ID. Do not wait until the last minute!

POPULAR ITEMS
When playing Couch Potato, please remember that some items will be very popular, you must continue to refresh your page at the right time to go from "Coming Soon" to available. If, at the right time you don't see the "buy" box, it means that the items are "Sold Out". Couch Potato cannot control the speed in which the items sell out.

LOCKED ACCOUNTS
If you are using a YAHOO email or a company issued email (ex: yourname@yourcompany.com) or anything non-traditional you may experience problems with receiving email communications from the Couch Potato System. To avoid this and avoid any bounced email we highly suggest using a GMAIL, HOTMAIL or AOL email account for Couch Potato.

To change your account information you need to first log in to your Couch Potato account. Once you are logged in click on the "My Info" tab at the top (next to "Tech Support"). This page will show all of your account information. At the top of the box there is a link "Edit Info". This page will allow you to change your personal information. Once you are finished making the changes please click "Update My Info" at the bottom of the page. If you are changing your email address your points will stay in your account and you will just have a new email to use to log in. Please send in a Tech Support ticket if you have any questions.
